Grocery This or That

1. Fast-food or regular (sit-down) restaurant?
It’s usually Fast Food for me. But I’s quickly swing the other way if I had more money.
2. If or when you go to fast-food places…drive-through or walk in?
We usually drive-thru and take it back home, unless it’s something like Taco Bell tostadas that you have to eat there or they get all soggy.
3. Any restaurant food…eat in or take out?
Eat in. That’s half of what you’re paying for, the ambience. Do I sound cheap or what?
4. You are at a restaurant and are too full to finish your meal. Do you leave it, or ask to have it wrapped up to go?
I ask for it to go, then I never eat it. It’s still there in the back of the fridge if you want it.
5. Where does most of your food come from…restaurants or the grocery store?
Restaurants, but when we go grocery shopping, look out, it’s ugly.
6. Do you shop for food at a supermarket or a convenience store?
Supermarket. The more super, the better.
7. You have 13 items in your cart. Do you try to go through the *12 Items of Less* express line or grit your teeth and get into the regular line?
12? When did it become the 12 or less lane? No way, I’m standing in line with the ordinary people. I whispered to Monique the other day that the guy in front of us had 3 more items than he’s allowed, and she said it was okay. I guess I’m just not a rebel.
8. If you shop at a store that has them, do you use the regular or self-scan checkouts? We did that on vacation in Colorado last year. I’m pretty surprised that we don’t have them in this booming metropolis.
9. Paper or plastic – Part One…what kind of bags do you take?
We took plastic but then ended up with 80,000 bags, so we take paper now and save those for some unknown reason.
10. Paper or plastic – Part Two…which payment method do you use when buying food?
The good ole debit card.
