Do You Twitter?

I didn’t… not until recently.  I went on a business trip recently and the talk amongst the co-workin’ folk was community sites. I had a twitter account but never used it.  So that piqued my curiosity and I got to twittering.  It’s pretty cool once you get some people together and start to form a kinda of conversation around what everyone’s doing.  I didn’t see the 2-wayness about it until I got going.  I thought it was more like a “I’m gonna tell the world what I’m up to all the time” thing.  Turns out it’s cooler than that, and not nearly as selfish as that may sound.  If you want, go over to twitter and sign up, and add me!  I added my latest twitter in the right column here as well.

    I think I’m on twitter, but never used it. I didn’t see the 2-wayness of it. Still don’t get it (but that’s ‘cuz I haven’t been back in a looong time).

    Still no facebook account or linkedin or whatever them are.

    I’m just not cool. And to prove that, check your email. I just sent a long email about Christian progressive rock. Yeah. That’s me. Not cool.

    First of all, Jon, you are cool. Second, it was the 2-wayness of Twitter…and the mobile access…that got me using The Twitter. You can reply to peoples Tweets…that’s 2-way (if 2 people reply to you, does that make it a 3-way???)
