First Trip to the Park

There’s been a long gap in posts around these parts. The little girl pictured here is the main reason for that, of course. But I’ve also been busy with some side-work, sneaking in some fun here and there, and work work work. It’s all good stuff as our now 2-month old is changing day to day and we’re getting used to the patterns of parenthood.

Today we took her to the park to feed the ducks for the very first time in her life. Heck, she didn’t know what ducks were before today (and still doesn’t). We were there almost an hour before we headed back home to give her some grub. She likes to eat and sleep more than anything else. She sleeps like I do… a lot. In fact she’s slept through the night most nights she’s been alive. A chip off the old block!

For some reason I enjoy the funnier expressions on her face for photos. There are the sweet ones too, but I laugh every time I see one of her weird expressions so I chose one of those for this post. She looks like she’s wearing a military helmet in this one. Something out of Band of Brothers or something.

    Is that Heritage Park?

Looks like Heritage Park to me! It’s the south-west “corner” where you can easily see the boat docked if the camera is turned to the left. Shot taken facing east.

Yup, check out Jon’s creepy stalking skills. It’s our go to park when the nieces visit, so we figured why not get the baby out and about so she can experience the great out of doors.
