Not just the Friday 5…

5 years ago today Monique and I got hitched! Saying that it seems like the 5 years have flown by. But then you start to think about how much we’ve done in those years and I see how we’ve been together for 5. Monique got me a backgammon/chess/checkers wooden thing from the Bombay Company. It’s pretty cool. We played Backgammon and I beat her pretty bad. It was her first game ever. So much for beginner’s luck! 
We’re off to dinner at one of our local favorites, PJ’s Abbey, which is an old church that has been converted into a restaurant. It’s great food, the people are very nice there, and it’s a nice quiet place to have some us time. Plus it’s just a short walk away!
