24 is over!

Jack Bauer’s day finally came to a close tonight. Those who watch Fox’s 24 know what I mean. I’m exhausted from watching this thing for the past 6 months or so. Gordon has been over here every Tuesday and at 20 after 9pm (that way we can watch it straight through by FFwding throught he commercials, Thank you TiVo!) we start the show. And what a great show it was. The ending tonight was unbelievable! I loved it. Everyone who missed it, if they re-run the series in sequence, you NEED to watch it. I can’t say enough about it. whew!

–UPDATE– I have been reading some message boards about how people received the 24 finale and the ending that it had. Some people, who seem to be in the minority, think that the ending was way too harsh. I’m trying not to give anything away, so I’m not mentioning any details. But just know that the final episode, and the ending it had, was consistent with the other 23 episodes in the series. And those first 23 were not ordinary in the least. 24 took risks that other shows don’t take. Take Alias for example (another popular action drama), They have a couple of main characters that have gotten into trouble, but they’re not killing off anyone that has more than 4 lines in the show. Don’t get me wrong, I like Alias, it’s just nowhere near as daring as 24 was. So you people that are having a tough time swallowing the curveball that 24 threw tonight, just remember that it fits the whole show’s profile perfectly from 12am to 12am.
