Defeat

What a game… too bad it didn’t have a happy ending for me. The Sharks and Oilers battled in a game that lasted over 5 periods! Toskala, the Sharks goaltender, was amazing as the Sharks were outshot by a wide margin. Overtime was anything but conservative. End to end action and chances for both teams (although it still seemed Edmonton was getting the most opportunities). The Oilers ended up winning on a scramble goal where the puck bounced off a of a few people before they banged it home.

The Sharks still have a 2-1 lead in the series, but it’s important that the young Sharks team responds well in the next game. They can’t let this heartbreak loss get them down and make them lose confidence. They have to remember that they ‘re still in control and only have to steal one game in Edmonton to take a commanding lead in the series. Go Sharks!

In other news, our house is all painted. We’re moving on to the next project, which at this very moment escapes my mine, but I know we have a dozen in flight.
