Move Update

Tonight we signed all of the loan documents. That’s not an easy thing to do when you think of all the money that is at stake. But we did it anyway and came right back home and continued packing. Our place is about 80% packed, I’d say. We got a lot of help from friends and will be finishing up the last of it this week, with the exception of the things we need to keep out to go about our daily routines.
I’m off work tomorrow (Wednesday) to make sure things go well at Mom’s. The movers get there at 8am and I can’t wait to see how they do it all. We’ve done a lot, packed a ton, but there are lots of things still yet to pack that they’re going to pack. There are also some things that are staying behind that we don’t want them to move. So we have to be there to oversee the operation.
It should be exciting to see the place empty after all of the stuff is moved out. That’s when we start to put our touch on the place. On Thursday the circus comes to town (fumigation tent), but then on Saturday we get in there and start destroyin… errr.. re-modeling some stuff. We’ll be at it pretty much every day there through Tuesday the 21st. Stop by and say Hi!
