Happy Birthday Monique!

Hard to believe it’s time for Monique’s Birthday again. Seems like only about a month ago she had her last one. Last night we went out and saw a movie, “Good Night and Good Luck” to celebrate the occasion. The movie was good, even though it was all political and newsy. The part I liked the best was seeing that era (the 50′s) and how the television industry operated then. The cinematography and acting were incredible as well. There were a lot of older people in the audience that probably remember the events first-hand, and a lot of them applauded afterwards. Good show.

On the home front, we have an offer that we’ve accepted, made by the first people that saw the house! We weren’t even on sale for 24 hours until we found a potential buyer. I saw potential because there’s still a lot of things that need to happen in order for the sale to go through. But everything looks great for now. They seem to really love our home. So much so that when their realtor called them at home to tell them that we had accepted their offer, the wife started to cry. When Monique heard that, she started to cry! Not a dry eye in (or about in the is case) the house.

Today we’re off to Burbank to visit Tim and Shana and hit the Huntington Library!

    Congrats on the quick sale. I know when we were selling our house it was very stressful to find a qualified buyer. Good for you guys.
