We’re For Sale!
Wednesday February 1, 2006 at 11:30 pm | Filed under Home
Yup, today’s the day! Our house is officially up for sale. We’re also in escrow on the new place, but that’s been open for about a week. Now the idea is to find a buyer. Someone with a bunch of dough that wants to give it all to us in trade for a well taken care of townhome.
Maggie, our realtor came over tonight and we planted the sign in the front yard and put the lock box on the front door. Now we can look forward to strangers coming inside our house while we’re not home. Weeeee!
Tuesday night, Monique and I took Owen and Dusty over to my mom’s place to stay while all this commotion is going on here. Dusty moves pretty well, she’s done it a few times and seems to show little fear when she finds herself in new surroundings. Owen on the other hand isn’t so adaptive. He was okay at first, but when when we introduced my mom’s cat Abbey to the picture, things got a little tense. He was holed up under a chair in the livingroom all night. I’m sure he’ll be fine in a few days, but he’s a slow one when it comes to new stuff.
Our listing should be online on Thursday. Why not get it for your sweetheart for Valentine’s Day?

February 3rd, 2006 at 6:09 pmuhh.. you were right! First people in the door made us a great offer! We’re in the paperwork part of accepting it, but I’m not celebrating until we’re a little further along.

February 3rd, 2006 at 10:56 pmHey, what’s the status on the backyard at the home you’re buying. In all the years of being a second son there, I think I was only in the backyard two times. Wasn’t there some kind of spa? That’s probably not any good anymore, eh? And how come we never chilled out in the spa with the babes?

February 4th, 2006 at 9:59 amHA! Yeah, there’s a spa back there, and it’s never really been cared for as much as a spa needs to be. But we’re going to fire it up when we get in there and see if we can nurse it back to health. It might need a little TLC, but that’s the plan with the whole place. I guess it was Jason that I was back there when we tried to burn the whole place down. While you and I tried to burn the place down from the livingroom.
Oh, and to answer the babes question… I think we were geeks.
