What I’ve been doing…

Been pretty busy recently, but here are a few things to point out.
My Mom has made the switch to Apple. She’s using Monique’s old Power Mac and she recently got a DSL connection. She’s gone to a couple of free classes at the Apple store in Costa Mesa and I don’t think she’s been on a computer so much since the switch!
Pat and I went to the Chargers/Rams pre-season game down in San Diego last Sunday, it was great. Not only because the Chargers won, but because I hadn’t seen Pat in awhile (outside of the day before at a BBQ) and it was fun to hang out with him and watch some football. I also brought our new camera to the game, and you can see some of the shots I took on flickr. My sunburn from the game has healed nicely (I put sun block on I SWEAR!). I’ve been lotioned up since Sunday and I think it actually worked.
Some of my family has caught the fantasy sports bug, so a bunch of us are in a Yahoo Fantasy Football league and I’m sure it’ll be fun. I’m still doing the one with the guys, but it’s pretty different scoring-wise. I’ll keep you up to date on what’s up in the leagues, even though you didn’t even ask me to. I’m that thoughtful.
I’ve started what seems to be a pretty long list (at least for me) of freelance gigs, with some edits to an existing web site: www.betterlifestylesinc.com – Designed by a contact of mine up in Portland. There are a ton more projects lined up in the near future, so I’m excited about those.
Podcasting! I’m really into it and have been listening to a lot of podcasts while I work. It’s actually pretty addicting, even though. I’ve always been involved with the Disneyland podcasts, but I’ve got a few irons in the fire in the podcast area in some other projects too.
That’s enough for now…
