So the birthday party was great. A bunch of really cool people showed up, Monique and Pat cooked some great food, and I got some really cool gifts… like this, for example. I really enjoyed having everyone over. Thanks to all who made the trip, especially my sister and her family, who came all the way from Vancouver, WA!
Sunday we went to the swap meet with mom and sis and the gang. We bought a new futon couch (our old one was kinda destroyed at the party on Saturday… long story). It was delivered today and we put it together tonight with help from Gordon.
It’s been really windy lately. The Santa Ana winds are knocking things down all over the place. There have been a few fires in the hills and the wind has blown the ash around and left a thin layer of crud on everything. Hopefully they won’t be as strong tomorrow as we’re all heading to Disneyland for the day.
