Disneyland’s 50th

Well, the podcasts are all done. It was a ton of work, but also a lot of fun to be involved in creating and posting them. We’re getting a lot of great feedback from people who have listened. I can tell you first hand the the festivities were amazing! I really can’t explain it all, but I’d recommend a visit to Disneyland over the next 18 months if you’re curious. The new parades, the fireworks show, the attractions, everything is really well done and impressed me quite a bit. The podcast does a lot to elaborate on all that stuff, so I won’t go into details on everything that’s going on.

May 9th, 2005 at 11:36 amThat Goo Goo Dolls thumbnail looks like it’s going to be an awesome pic . . . but the big one looks like a marvellous oil-slick! Are there humans in that pic?

May 10th, 2005 at 9:42 amIt’s funny because when I saw the campaign for the 50th, I was unimpressed. But when I went to Disney, I realized that a part of it does feel like home to me. I have some sort of personal ownership of the park based on my experiences. Also, while the big things are impressive (parades), I was drawn to the simpler things such as the castle, the gold 50th anniversary Mickey’s that are all over the park and the gold sections to the ride!! It really is a wonderful place.

May 10th, 2005 at 7:10 pmyes, the fireworks are the best! Epecially if you’ve got some history with Disneyland. And liking Star Wars helps. …but that’s all I’m sayin.
Jon, Space will be open July 15th! I can’t wait either.

May 11th, 2005 at 7:59 amI’m going next week Thursday with the family and I’ll probably be going after July 15th to check out Space Mountain. I had a friend here at work go the opening night and saw tons of photos! The place looks great. Not that I’m a really big fan of the Star Wars or anything but I heard rumblings about a certain ride. ; )
