Arrow gets Jacked

Wanna hear every play on the word “Jack” that ever was? Tune into 93.1FM now! Arrow FM has taken a page out of Indie 103.1′s book and changed formats to a DJ free “we play anything we want” approach. The no DJ thing may be temporary, heck they don’t even take requests right now, but the format is interesting. I haven’t heard but one night full of it, last night while we were working on our bedroom, but it strikes me as the station that Arrow should have been. A bit more daring in what they play, but not coming too far out of the classic rock corner. I like it, but it’s not ground-breaking. The best thing about 93.1 or “Jack” as it’s known is that I didn’t hear Stairway to Heaven, or Sweet Home Alabama, or Hey Jude in a whole night of listening! THe old Arrow would have played each of these 4 times in that time span. So check out Jack if you’re curious, it’s an improvement at least.

    The song line-up is kind of weird, though on 93.1. And I do love 103.1, but Dickie Barrett in the morning can drive me crazy!
