Google Maps

Google Maps is in the beta stage and is fun to play with. It’s a draggable map interface that is NOT in flash, and it’s peppier because of it. I really like how you can look up yellow pages entries for the view you’re currently in, and have those results pop-up on the map as pins. Makes looking for a pizza joint around your location really easy.
It seems that Google is another company that I dig whatever they do, and have even gotten the “they must actually care” feeling about them recently. Other companies that I’ve had that feeling about lately are Apple, ludicorp (flickr), Bungie, TiVo, and Netflix. I recommend them all.
