On flickr I stumbled on a photo that had a macintosh logo on it combined with mickey ears. While some would believe this to be the equivalent of a pentagram morphed with a swastika, I wondered what the story behind it was. After further searching, it turns out there was this guy named Michael Tosh who had this nickname and created this logo. He send out the logo in the form of stickers for free to whoever wanted them, in exchange for a picture of where they stuck it. Of course, flickr.com helps this right along as he’s got quite a few photos of his logo from all over the world.

Being a shareholder of both of these companies (not stocks with apple yet, just hardware) I found it to be an interesting logo. I guess you could say it’s an alternate logo for Pixar, but then again, that may only last another movie. At any rate, check out mickeytosh.com.

    Nice ride Joe! Does it have the new nav system that gives you updated traffic reports as well as directions?

    Nope, that’s the RL. The TL is the one I can afford. :) It does have a lot of bells and whistles and it a lot more sporty than the RL (and again, $15k less)
