Halo Nite 2004

On Saturday night there were about 14 of us that all took part in a Halo 2 party at my place. We had 5 TVs and 5 Xboxes all networked together and we played from 7pm until about 5 in the morning. That was a good time! There are some pics on flickr that a few different people took whilst the mayhem ensued. My little brother Michael came away the superior Halo dude for the evening, but we’re all gunning for him and maybe that won’t be the case next time! (yeah, right)
This image is an example of the lanyard I made for each of the players. I thought I’d put a little personal touch on it and give away a souvenir at the same time. I thought it would be more fun than competing for prizes. Besides, that’s illegal or somethin. Speaking of illegal, the cops showed up at our place at about 2:30am because a neighbor complained about the noise. I don’t think we were all THAT loud, and even the cops agreed. Although they did say the call was a couple of hours old so that may have been when we were a little louder. I got away with a warning, so everything came out okay.
We’re leaving for a little Christmas getaway to visit my sister in Vancouver, WA. Look for some mobile photos to come through while we’re up there. Merry Christmas everyone!
