Baja Blasted!

Have you already been elevated to Code Red? Been shocked by Livewire? Well there’s something new at Taco Bell (and Taco Bell ONLY for now) from Mountain Dew called “Baja Blast” that is definitely worth a try. It’s like regular Mtn Dew, but it’s bright greenish blue. A shade you’d find in a dishwashing liquid, or for those bar-frequenting readers it resembles an Adios MF. It’s really pretty good. I never got into Code Red, although it’s not bad. I’ve yet to try Livewire although I’ve heard good things. I’ve always been a fan of the original Mtn Dew so I figured I’d give this a try today and it was yummy. Go to TB and check it out!

    I tried Baja Blast today…I liked it! It’s been awhile since I drank a soda with real sugar in it. Like regular Mt.Dew it was really sweet but quite tasty and almost refreshing. A nice contrast to my taco supremes.

    Just yesterday while in the van leaving Lake Arrowhead Village, my kids were having a conversation about what colors Mt. Dew comes in. My 4-year-old said, “There’s green and red and orange.” Then my 2-year-old said, “Blue?”

    “Nope, no blue.”

    Well… now I gotta get over to TB and see what this is all about.

    I just figured out how to describe the taste… it tastes like a melted, slightly carbonated Louie-Bloo Raspberry Otter Pop! I had some more today!

    Oops, sorry . . . should have been Louis Bleu. It was in the same bathroom that Dan Brown features at the beginning of the Da Vinci Code, believe it or not!

    Just got Blasted today for the first time. Pretty good stuff, though I can’t stop thinking that I’m drinking liquefied cotton candy. Mine was a pale blue with no hint of green–maybe the juice was running low.
