It’s Christmas!

Well, it seems that way anyway. I got two “gifts” today. Best Buy called up and FINALLY said that they had our HD Tivo receiver in stock, so I boogied on down there after work to grab it. Quite a hefty price tag, but through other means I’m getting it for nearly half the asking price. It was incredible to fire up an HD program and pause it, rewind it, and learn about alpacas. Okay, I have no clue what I was watching, but he picture was beautiful and Hockey is gonna look incredible on it if they ever play it again. Yay for Tivo!

The other cool item was ESPN NFL 2K5. It came out today and I’ve played one game so far (c’mon I had to set up the tivo!). It was a “celebrity match” with Jamie Kennedy (go ahead, Arlen, ask who he is, it’s okay because he’s not all that big of a celebrity). He’s one of the celebs that calls you and challenges you to play against him. I accepted his challenge and he promptly marched out a team that was incredible. More than all-star quality. They whooped my chargers 38-3 or something like that. Wow! What a deal, $20 to get my ass handed to me. *joy* The game is unreal though, and it was great putting my custom soundtrack in there. I need to start out with an easier team though and work my way up. This game is so deep. Yay again!

    Jamie Kennedy Experience–I do know who this guy is. My mom thinks he’s the funniest ever. I’ve only seen one or two of his gags, but they were pretty funny.

    But who are the Chargers?
