Sharks drop a big one…

My Sharks needed a win tonight and came up with a pretty crappy effort. Again, the offense wasn’t there. they were getting beat to pucks all night long. It didn’t help at all that Calgary was getting some lucky bounces, that’s what teams that give more effort are rewarded with.

But as a long-time fan, I know that the Sharks don’t do anything the easy way, so why would this series, the most important in their history, be any different? I expect them to come out with a huge effort up in Calgary on Thursday night, since their facing elimination.

grumble grumble.

Grumble grumble is right. I guess some of the team was a little disappointed in the fans that booed (not me, I just can’t get the vision out of my head of someone hanging over my shoulder and booing me at work, shiver shiver) during game 2. Well they’ve got to give effort to get praise. They’re talking the talk but not walking the walk! I had great hopes after games 3 and 4, sigh.
