Runnin’ Cables

Monique and I made a weekend project out of wiring the house for satellite. Sure the DirecTV guy came out a month or so ago and wired us up for HDTV and gave us a new dish and all that, but that was before I landed a great deal on two more receivers. I mean, you can’t pass up $49 for a DirecTivo! …so we bought two. The weekend project was wiring the two rooms that would be getting new receivers: The office and the Guest room. Multiple trips in to the attic, some precarious balancing acts on top of the back patio, and about 300 feet of RG6 cable later and we’re wired baby!

Nice Russound T-shirt!

The whole cabling thing itself looks very well done, I have to say. I just found out that my wireless internet person upstairs is moving away in the fall. What will I do?
