Not good.

Two overtime games, two losses. This isn’t good, we need to put these Avalanche away before they win another game. Bottom line is, the defense is doing the job, but the offense needs to step it up a notch. They seem to be getting chances, but the goaltending for the Avs has been there. I still think that’s the weakness and we’ll get it done in the next one.

    The Sharks better do something offensively, not only for this series, but the next series when they play the Calgary Flames. That’s right. I said it. Kiprusoff is this year’s Giguere.

    Do you think the Sharks got rid of the wrong goalie? I don’t. I know kipper’s good, but I believe Nabby’s better. And Toskala will have a year like Giguere someday too!

    If the Sharks and Flames do meet, it may be safe to say that the first team to score 10 goals in the series wins the thing.

    Man, I don’t know if my nerves could handle that. But I think we’re headed there. First things first though, the Sharks need to take care of business in Denver Tuesday night, then we can start talking about a goaltending duel!
