Nearing the Playoffs

You remember how scary the Colorado Avalanche looked at the beginning of this season? Let me remind you… Forsberg, Sakic, Hejduk, Selanne, Kariya, Tanguay, Blake, and the list goes on. They even beefed up a bit at the trade deadline. Well guess who has a better record than the Avs with 5 games remaining in the season? How about the Sharks?

Wow, what a season it’s been. I’m looking forward to the playoffs!

Maybe we could head up to SJ for a game?

I checked with few people in my section, unfortunately no extra tickets. That may or may not change when the dates are announced. When individual tickets go on sale at the box offices it goes by lottery, you would probably have better luck down there (since it’s Ticketmaster) than I would. Let me know if you’re serious and I will do further checking.

I think I’ll wait and see if they make it to the 2nd round or not. I think they have a pretty good chance. They’re playing well, although I wish Marleau would start putting it in the net. If they get past the 2st round, we’ll start investigating and making plans.

Just read on the Sharks site that tickets go on sale Sunday. The Playoffs start Tues but Clarkson/Aiken concert at the Tank on Tues and then a Stealth game on Sat. So unless they do back-to-back games the most likely days would be Wed-Fri for the first two games here.

    That sucks!

Maybe we’ll get to see them in HD on our set!?
