Sick of being sick!

I’ve been sick for a week. I have this flu/cold thing that is going around. I felt about the worst I’ve ever felt this morning when I woke up, I thought I was dead… except that I woke up, so that proved different.

Besides being sick, I must say that I’m happy to have Christmas season here. Our lights are up, the place is decorated, and we’re creating our 6th annual Christmas CD. We didn’t get a tree this year since we’ll be out of town for nearly two weeks this season. This is probably the last year we’ll be skipping the tree, as sooner or later we’ll have critters running around this place and critter love trees.

I knew it was Christmas time this past Monday night when we went to a Christmas concert that my sister and brother were in at the Orange County Performing Arts Center. It was a great show and the music was beautiful.

WOW! Critters are coming! Is there a big announcement coming too? Critters are super fun but they can also wear you down super quick, especially playing witht hem for 4 hours straight. Congratulations in advance!!

chill out man! It’s not like we’re going to Besy Buy and picking one up this weekend… no kids in the works yet… just someday.

Joe meant possums and squirrels and that sort of critter. The cats are getting lonely, and a tree will make all the critters feel like they’ve regained their woodland paradise that they lost when they fell into domestic captivity.

Man, with that kind of logic I wonder if it’s too late to get a tree for this year? I could use some woodland paradise!

You can get some fake woodland paradise for 30% off at Target this week… I think. Had to look through all the ads last night to find a Christmas present for my dad.

This is the first year we got a tree. Our f-ing cats are destroying the thing (and some of the other decorations around the house).

man, I laughed out loud when I read that. Cat-type critters are fun to watch when christmas trees are around. Dusty used to get in the tree when she was younger. I remember looking into the tree and seeing a pair of eyes look back at me. …now she just eats the needles and throws’em up. Yum!
