NFL Network is on the air as of Tuesday night! DirecTV peeps can tune to channel 212 and take in all the football goodness!
I caught the premier of their flagship show, “NFL Total Access” which had some high points, and some okay points. Rich Eisen has jumped the ESPN ship and seems to be this new network’s marquee man. He’s not the best, but he’s good enough.
What was really easy to notice was that the quality of the clips and montages that this network has is above most others. That’s pretty easy to understand when you realize that NFL films is behind the whole production of the network.
They say it’s 24/7-365… I’m not sure if that means that we won’t be seeing any infomercials on this thing, but man, this is something that is going to keep the Tivo humming.
