Grand Theft Springfield

You like Turkey? You like Gravy? You’ll LOVE Turkey Gravy!!
Well, something like that. Two proven genres have come together as The Simpsons (some cartoon) combines with Grand Theft Auto (3/Vice City variety) to form a crazy new video game.
I’m not a huge Simpsons fan (it’s funny but for some reason I’ve never watched it regularly) but I guess games with these yellow people in’em haven’t been all that great in the past. But the reviews for The Simpsons – Hit & Run are coming in very positive, some saying it’s the best Simpsons game ever, by a long shot.
What looks cool as far as I can tell is that you get to choose which simpsons character you want to play as, you get to drive 40 vehicles form the show, and better yet — you get to motor around a virtual Springfield, filled with all kinds of landmarks that you’ve seen in prime time over the years.
You really should check out the tralier for the game here. And if you like that, head on over to the official web site to see more movies and other info about the game.
All your letter writing has paid off, Arlen!

October 24th, 2003 at 9:24 amGTA3 and Vice City for the PS2 are now packaged together in a greatest hits package. I’m guessing about $30… but I didn’t see the price, so I’m not sure.
