So I just bought my first whole album on the iTunes Music Store. Easy as pie, and cheaper than the album if I bought it in the store too. It was Guster’s latest, “Keep it Together” But that’s not the reason for this post.

When you look at the albums Guster has available on the ITMS, there’s one extra… it seems they remixed the entire “Keep it Together” album and replaced all of the lyrics with the word “Meow” in place of the lyrics. It’s kinda like the Jingle Cats meet pop. I don’t know if it was really disturbing or if I need to have it.

If you have iTunes, check it out, it’s funny! The album is called Meow Mix. I was unable to find mention of it on Guster’s official site, but it’s probably on the net somewhere.

    The Meow Mix was actually produced in studio during production of KIT. I believe, don’t quote me, that the producer of the album is the guilty party as far as the meows are concerned.
