Yeah, so it’s international Talk Like a Pirate Day. What the heck is going on here? We’re going to have all kindsa days like this pop up now, huh?

So last night Monique and I signed up for a gym membership. 24 Hour Fitness to be specific. I’ve never belonged to a club like this before but I’m gonna give it a go. We’ll see how goes. We couldn’t really pass up the deal, it was through work and gave us the ability to go to any 24Hr Fitness center around, including the Sport ones (a little nicer, I guess) at a great price for the both of us.

This all stemmed from Monique wanting to take some Yoga classes, and me finding out that we could both join the gym for the same price and she could take free Yoga classes there! Yippee! Now I guess we have to fight for he ipod when we go.

    Cool deal on the 24-Hr membership! I used to have one of those when I lived in Cali. I use the UT gym facilities for free, but when that bargain expires I would definitely consider signing up with 24-Hr again.

    Another tip: Buy a used copy of Arnold Schwarzenneger’s Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding. It shows the correct way to do a zillion exercises with free weights, which are better overall than machines. Too many wolves in the gym have no idea what they’re doing.

    Since when does a gym membership help you learn how to draw Hanna-Barbera cartoons?
