PS2 Dogpile!

A lot of PlaystationWell, not really a dogpile, but a pile of them all connected together to make one big nasty computer. The National Center for Supercomputing Applications has assembled a supercomputer made up of 65 Playstation 2s that is capable of producing up to 6.5 billion mathematical operations a second — and it’s not even for gaming!

They do this by running Linux via the Linux kit you can buy for the PS2, which comes with a hard drive, keyboard, mouse, and software.
