Is C-3PO gay?

I’m not sure if it’s totally been proven yet, but there are a number of pages on the web that seem to insinuate that C-3PO was light in the loafers. I have no clue why I haven’t wondered about this myself, I just thought he was a robot that was a bad actor that had increasingly cheesy lines as the movies went on (especially episode 2). Here’s some brew-ha-ha about all this so you can weigh in on this…
The Encyclopedia Obscura thinks they have proof that he’s gay, and I’m obliged to agree after seeing the C-3PO tape dispenser that they have pictured!
This one flat out tells it like it is, at least in a deserted riverbed.
A Quiz that’s supposed to tell you if you’re a sad male Sci Fi fan lists C-3PO as one of it’s multiple choice options as “the gay robot from Star Wars.” (I scored a 29, btw)
Here’s a site that not only says 3PO is gay, but a number of other famous robots too!
…and then there’s this quote from Will & Grace:
Jack: “The world should know the truth about C3PO.”
Will: “Jack, C3PO is not gay, he’s British.”
Grace: “You really should get another hobby other than outing robots.”
So you be the judge, is he gay, or just British?
