Floor update — an abnormal Monday

Today I worked from home because there was a bunch of strangers in the house installing ceramic tile floor in the master bath. It looks great, but it ain’t done. I guess the original estimate of a half-day job was a bit understated. So there it sits, half done. Well, hopefully more than half done, as all that needs to be done is the grout and the toilet install. Should have more of update on that tomorrow.
Tonight I went through wires boxes. You know those big boxes of wires that geeks like me seem to collect? Man, I was able to get rid of quite a bit of old stuff in there. We’re gearing up for one of those community garage sales that they have here (they had one the week after we moved in and we weren’t ready for that one, so this will be our first) so we’re going through a bunch of stuff in hopes to sell it off. I’m also gathering a bunch of stuff to sell on half.com or ebay. I just put up an old mobile phone today.
So anyway, in looking through all those wires a came up with another one of those band name lists that Arlen and I used to make up. We’d both think up 10 nouns and ten adjectives and then mix and match them to see what kinda great band names we could come up with. These are things we at 3am at Denny’s before there were things like Leon’s Band Name Generator. Here’s what was on this list:

Big Mad Needle
haha.. some of those still hold up. I think I’ll try to work “Bursting Rumpus at Large” into a meeting this week.
