Half.com addiction : Bye Bye TiVo!

I’m really getting the hang of the online marketplace known as half.com. I mean, I’ve sold some things there in the past, but now I’m really finding ways to get some extra cash by parting with some of my stuff. Today I sold my TiVo. I got $150 for it, and considering I paid less than that to buy it 2 years ago, I think it’s a bargain. “Joe? get rid of TiVo?!” you ask? Yeah. It just hit me how much time I waste in front of the TV, and even though TiVo helps cut out commercial watching time, and makes it so you can watch whenever you want, it still is time I should be doing something else that’s more constructive. I’m deciding what my next item up for sale might be and I think I may be done trying the Mac platform. Luckily Macs hold their value very well and I could probably get a decent amount for it. I haven’t decided on that one yet, though.
I’ve also reached what I feel is my next level of musical taste in my life. Check out the recently heard tunes list to the right to catch a flavor of what I’m diggin’ musically of late.
