24 – Another Day

We watched the season premiere of 24 last night. It was commercial free thanks to the fine folks at Ford. Fine folks indeed! The show was bookended by two 5 minute Ford commercials. But anyway, about the show…
Just like last season, you kind of have to let the first episode set up the storyline for you. We spent some time trying to figure out how much time had passed between “days” (seasons), who everyone was, and what the heck they had to do with the story. They took some liberties by not putting as much action in this premier as they did in last year’s. They have the brand established now, and they can take longer to set up the characters. That’s not to say it wasn’t interesting, I liked it and I’ll be glued to my TV next Tuesday too.
