Wow… I can’t believe this! I watched it.. I heard the fireworks… I’m seeing the aftermath of it on the tube, but wow. It’s a pretty great feeling when a team that you’ve been a fan of for most of your life wins it all. the Angels did that tonight in an unusual way for them. They kept a lead for most of the game. Although they didn’t score first, so it’s officially a come-from-behind victory, they played a great game to keep a lead that they got early on.
It’s gonna be pretty strange hearing them called the World Champion Anaheim Angels throughout the next year, but I think I can deal.
On a work-related note, Disneyland is having a big Angels celebration on Tuesday at the parks. I’m going to try to be there for as much as I can. There’s going to be a parade and all sorts of photo ops and all that.
