What year is it?

Why the heck are products continuing to use 2000 as part of their name? Is it not 2002? Shouldn’t they move on to 3000? Is 2000 somehow more appealing than other numbers? Maybe there’s a massive research study behind it… or maybe if they use 2000 it draws more attention to the product because it isn’t quite right… or maybe they made a bunch of the product 3 years ago and they haven’t sold all of their stock yet? or… maybe I should to go bed.
