Man, I thought it was going to be a nice productive night on the computer, but NOOoooo… I get home to find that my internet connection is down. This almost never happens, which is good cuz then I’d have to find something else to do with my life, and that’d be hard. So I determine that the problem is not the cable modem company, but my cable modem router/hub thing. I try a few things and before it gets too late (read: before Fry’s closes) I decide that I should go try another router just to make sure the thing isn’t fried or something. So I go get a shiny new one, hook it up, and it has the same problem. No sweat, that’s $150 I don’t have to spend. So I box it back up, hook up my old one and recycle the cable modem and the crazy thing works. huh!
