Winamp who?

I changed out the Winamp thing on the right. Now it’s iTunes. It’s not quite the same thing, it doesn’t show the last 5 songs I’ve listened to. (Maybe I haven’t found that script yet) This one just shows a song there if I’m listening to something right then, and if I am it’ll tell you a lot more about that song. I guess it’s better than the Winamp one just sitting there forever not changing.

September 1st, 2002 at 7:45 amI agree . . . the Winamp playlist is, in my opinion, too much and too little at the same time. Like “This or That Tuesday” it doesn’t really tell you anything. The iTunes variant is a little better, because you may learn something about a random song.
I guess the reason I hate This or That Tuesday is the lack of rationale asked for or given in most cases. If I read “Pink or Rose? –Pink” do I learn anything? I’m none the wiser and feel like I’ve wasted my time. Give me 2 lines on your personal experiences any day.

September 1st, 2002 at 12:22 pmI have to disagree with you there Arlen. With a This or That Tuesday choice of Pink over Rose, you’ve at least learned that I would choose Pink over Rose. You may not have known that prior to reading my blog.
I’m just justifying why I continue to do it.

And if the lines of questioning were a little meatier, you know, than “which 80′s flash in the pan do you prefer.” But I’m a guy who can’t STAND “Dumb and Dumber,” so take my opinion for whatever it’s worth!

September 2nd, 2002 at 10:47 amI agree that more info is better and I also agree that I’d much prefer to hear a brief blurb about someone’s day in lieu of This or That Tuesday. But I had to razz ya. I wouldn’t be me if I hadn’t. =p
