It’s HERE it’s HERE (Part 2)

This is my first post from my new mac. Last night I got home from work and there it was. Quite beautiful. It was even more beautiful when I plugged it in. iTunes is the greatest thing since sliced bread so far, and that’s kept me busy for awhile. I also burnt a couple CDs, installed Microsoft Office v. X, imported my e-mail and contacts over, and connected to my local lan and the internet (yep, I can see my PC’s files no problem at all, and a lot of them even open on the mac!) .

I’m still learning how to work with this new enviroment, and it’ll take some time to get used to, but I really like what I’ve seen and done so far. Stay Tuned!

Congrats on the Mac, mein Freund! If you figure out how to program it to accept “PC shortcuts” (e.g., Alt+E+D+R in Excel to delete a row) do let me know.

Now I’m brand new, but I think QuicKeys might be something you’re looking for. check out quickeys.com for a trial download.

You can make your own keyboard shortcuts, and even schedule stuff to happen via applesripts and stuff.
