Wood!

We got a lot done again today, including texturing the downstairs ceiling, completion of the office paint, installation of a new kitchen faucet (a present from Monique’s parents) and we even started laying the wood floor in the office! I’m really sore and tired, but I’m really excited about how the place is shaping up. I’m pretty confident that we’ll have things in order for the move. Still plenty of weekend projects to go around, as I think Monique and I have some things we want to do before we officially have people over, but we’ll have the big things (like the floor being in place) ready for moving day this Saturday!

By the way, being on vacation is great. I thougt about work once or twice today, but that was it.
