OH NO! IT’S HAUNTED!

Just kidding.. Monique and I got into our new place today, we spent about 5 hours there this afternoon/evening. I was able to do a lot of damage! I ripped out the wood paneling that was on two walls of the livingroom, and Monique painted some light fixture things silver in the kitchen and then cleaned the kitchen. We also put together a couple of IKEA chairs that we bought for next to nothing, took off all of the outlet covers in rooms we’re going to paint, and scored all of the wallpaper since we’re getting rid of it.

I also discovered that the sub-floor downstairs is cement! That’s a good thing because we know it’ll be level and it’ll be pretty easy to lay the laminate flooring on.

Tomorrow night we’re going back over and taking down the wallpaper and prep the office and kitchen for painting, as well as patching some drywall in the livingroom where I played Mr. Destructo. Stay tuned.

    Hum, no posting for Tuesday yet. Does that mean that you got over zealous and your fingers are too
