Getaway This or That…

1. Rented lodgings, or staying with friends/relatives?
I don’t mind either, but I think I prefer staying with relatives if they have room. If they don’t and I’m gonna have to sleep on the floor, I’d rather get a room if I have the dough.
2. Lots of activities, or just lying around doing nothing?
Depends where we are. But I don’t usually need activities to have a good time away from home. …hey that works when I’m at home too!
3. Blogging while on vacation…yes or no?
Not usually, but when I get back, yes.
4. If you have children and/or pets…bring them along or make other arrangements?
Leave the cats behind, they party it up while we’re gone. I’m sure eventually our kids will do the same.
5. Do you cook while away on vacation, or eat out every day?
Vacation? We go out. Visiting relatives? We cook.
6. Do you pack light and plan to do laundry while away, or overpack and wash everything when you get home?
Overpack, but even then laundry isnt’ out of the question.
7. Drive to your vacation spot, or take some kind of public transportation?
Drive usually.
8. If you have a cell phone…on or off while away?
On, but probably without a signal. Damn cell phones.
9. Bring work along or not?
I did last time (Family Reunion last summer in Colorado) but I didn’t get much done thank God.
10. Returning home with more stuff than you originally took with you…yes or no?
Usually.
